Happy St. Patrick's Day

Sara and I had our 6 week check-ups and doing great. Sara is 23" long and weighs 11 pounds, 13 ounces. Oh boy, has she grown. She is changing and doing something new everyday! She has been sleeping in her crib since last Friday and doing wonderful. She loves her new bath time that we just started right before she goes down for the night. We also took out the extra net in her bath tub, she is bigger now and doesn't need it anymore. All the warm water and massaging seems to relax and soothe her :O)

I am cleared to go back to my regular activity including working out. I am 5 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight...the hardest to lose but I'll do it eventually.

Here are some new pictures from the past week or so. Enjoy!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Week 5 Update

Sara, Mommy and Daddy are doing wonderful!!! Sara is so much more alert this past week. She is turning her head side to side, reaching out for objects around her, holding onto my hair, holding onto us slightly when we hold her, supporting her head up longer, laughing, smiling, cooing, looking at us, loves music and our voices. We adore her, she is so much fun!

She doesn't really have an eating schedule, she eats when she's hungry which is usually every 2 - 3 hours but sometimes sooner and sometimes later, which is pretty normal. She sleeps on and off throughout the day and sometimes 5 - 6 hours through the night. . .which is very nice!! Breastfeeding is going good and I'm pumping into a bottle a few times a week to start. She is taking the bottle nicely which will help when I go back to work and Brian is home. We tried the pacifier but she really doesn't take it, only a few times.

Sara and I go for our 6 week checkups next week. Will keep you posted on how we are both doing. We shall see how much more Sara has grown and hopefully I have lost ;)
