Brian's 1st Race

On Saturday, April 18th Brian and I ran in the Denville 5K. I have been racing for over ten years but this was Brian's first one! He did great coaching me the whole time. We finished the race in 27 minutes beating our goal of 28 minutes. Our friends Jason, Kellie, Nola, Caitlin and Ryan were there running with us and Lily came to cheer us on! Ryan finished in 24 minutes - how awesome is that - great job Ryan! Kellie and Caitlin finished in 33 minutes and Jay and Nola came running in around 37 minutes. It was a great time and we can't wait for our next race in May.

Sara was home with Mama and Papa while we raced, we plan to bring her with us next time :)

3 Months Old

Our little Sara is growing up so fast, 3 months old already! Brian and I were just saying how different she looks from when she was first born. She is so much fun now. . . she looks, coos, blows bubbles, reaches out for things more, kicks her feet like crazy. . . she loves her bath. . .loves to watch Sesame Street in the morning and Baby Einstein in the afternoon . . . she loves us to read her all kinds of books. . . she laughs and smiles all the time. It is so great and we love her to pieces :)

Her 11 week visit went very well, all on schedule and everything looks great. She weighs 13 pounds, 10 ounces and is 24 1/2 " long. I went back to work 2 weeks ago. Everything is going good with that, Brian is home with Sara now and absolutely loves it! It was tough for me the first week but knowing she is home with her Daddy. . . having a great time. . . makes it so much easier.
