Hi ~ I'm 6 Months Old

WOW - our little baby Sara is 6 months old already! So much has happened this month.....Sara weighs 17 lbs, 10 oz from her last doctor visit. She goes for her next set of shots on 8/13. She is still a great sleeper - usually sleeping about 11 hours overnight :) and 2 - 3 naps per day. She sleeps on her back then goes on her side and in the morning will wake up on her belly. So cute! Sara is such a great eater too. She has loved all the fruits and vegetables we tried so far. On Sunday she used the sippy cup for the first time and loved it :)

Sara just loves her school - Rainbow Montessori - she made lots of friends already and the teachers are absolutely wonderful! School picture day this Friday. Can't wait to see!!

Sara is moving around so much now! She is rolling over all over the place. She loves being up on her belly (finally) and playing in her crib with all her farm animals. She is getting ready to crawl - moving around like a little inch worm. Still no teeth but soon I'm sure!

Sara is also talking up a storm......below are a few of her favorite sayings:

Family Feeling Better

We were all sick but finally feeling better! Sara started a few weeks ago with a runny nose and cough. We thought it was just from day care. Well, after another week we decided to take Sara back to the doctor. At first we were told to give her Benadryl for possible allergies. We went back to the doctor and was told it was a sinus infection! Poor Sara :( After only a few doses of her medicine (amoxicillin) she was feeling better :) She still has a cough but nothing like before and her nose is finally clear.

Brian and I both had sore throats. Brian's throat was really bad, he was even tested for strep throat but thank goodness it was negative. He's feeling much better. I had a really bad cough and a fever. I even stayed home from work one day which I never do. The fever is gone but still a little cough.

Since the weather was beautiful and we were feeling better we decided to hang by the pool. It was nice to just relax.
